Discover the natural beauty and diverse ecosystem of Squamish on a high-end E-Bike. Riders of all levels of ability will enjoy our friendly Eco-Tour. On these guided tours we take you through the most scenic vistas of Squamish, from river to ocean.
Guests will get a chance to see coastal temperate rainforests, salmon spawning rivers, mountains, ancient volcanoes, Howe Sound (the southernmost fjord in North America) and the Squamish River estuary - all in 2-3 hours! Squamish is where the mountains collide with the ocean and is as beautiful as it is diverse.
This tour is for everyone. You do not have to be superfit or an experienced biker. Just have a love for adventure and beautiful places!

Blazing Saddle Adventures was started to provide a unique way to show visitors the amazing and diverse ecosystems around Squamish, BC - the Adventure Capital of Canada! By using high end user friendly E-Bikes Blazing Saddle Adventures has made this Eco-tour available to everyone. Friendly, local guides will instruct you on how to use your state of the art E-bike and guide you through a series of fun, easy trails. You will stop along the way to take in the amazing natural beauty of the area and learn some interesting facts about the natural environment.
Blazing Saddles Adventures is committed to the preservation of British Columbia's wilderness habitat. Our ecotours are designed to promote an understanding of the delicate ecosystems that make our province unique while preserving their fundamental integrity. We ask participants to share our concern for the environment by practising low impact touring in this sensitive area.
We believe the survival of the natural environment and the wildlife it supports depends on establishing a love and understanding of the ecosystems we are lucky enough to call home. In our clients' enjoyment of BC's tremendous natural endowment, we hope to contribute to this emerging view of the natural world.
*** Our tours usually run at 10:00am daily but if possible we can modify that time if you need to start earlier or later - please contact us and if we can accommodate your request we will do so!
Our Team
Christian Begin
Christian was drawn to the Rocky Mountains at a young age and started his life long love with skiing and the outdoors as a "liftie" at a ski resort outside Banff. His passion led to filmmaking where he made one of the first mountain biking videos "Kranked" and many other films including working for National Geographic. Christian was also one of the co-founders of Bella Coola Heli Sports voted the best heli-skiing in the world (twice). He has worked and traveled all over the world and now shares his passions with his family, friends, and visitors to Squamish.
Most recently Christian and his entire family have embarked on a year long journey to backpack and explore the world! Some of the places they have visited are Greece, Turkey, Africa and they are now in S.E. Asia! What an amazing experience!
Brent Macdonald
Brent has always had a passion for the outdoors, adventure and travel. He started his career as a “liftie” at a ski resort in Banff when he was 19 yrs old and has since traveled and worked all over the world seeking new adventures. He went to school for Outdoor Recreation Management and became a whitewater guide and owner of a local rafting company. He also was a skills instructor for Capilano University and taught whitewater rafting and kayaking. He has guided many custom adventures from expedition canoeing and rafting trips to mountain biking, hiking, sea kayaking and even a few horseback / fly fishing trips.
Recently Brent has been taking on a few of the Camino de Santiago routes in Spain and Portugal. 2 years ago he walked from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic - 1400km across Spain with his Father. This was his 4th Camino de Santiago and he is now planning his 7th!
